REVIEWS / TESTIMONIALS

I have loved all of Robert Beckstedt's books but by far, this is now my favorite. Well-written and memorable, it contains everything I love in a great read... curiosity, believability, compassion, suspicion, deceit, a noble cause, romance, heartbreak, and just the right touch of humour. Loved the protagonist and literally yelled "NOOOOooo" out loud at the deeds of the antagonist near the end! I am hoping for a sequel!

This is quite a captivating, intriguing, and spell-binding story! I loved the historical context and geographical settings, and the generational thread that supports this rollercoaster for the mind!

An inspiring story of a mega church’s missionary work and a free spirit “Christ follower” treading with unknowable good intentions into the African Aids/HIV epidemic. Becksted intertwines the word of God with organized religion, international economics, politics, human frailties, and the realities of the harsh global business. A primer on being true to God and oneself. Hurting and healing and reassuring that “Sunday is Coming.”
